WHO WE ARE
The ministry of Knowing Jesus was founded in 2021 out of a lifelong desire to serve the larger Body of Christ by building up the Church and equipping believers toward maturity in Christ. As former missionaries, church planters, and pastors, God has given a heart to Kevin and Christy to see individuals and the church as a whole walking in the fullness of God made available to us by the finished work of Christ. It is this direction from the Lord to present everyone complete in Christ as the hallmark of life and ministry. After many years of ministering as something you do for Christ and others, it is the deepest desire that the ministry of Kevin & Christy serve as an overflow of the life of Jesus into the lives of others.
Kevin & Christy have been married for 26 years and have 4 adult children. It is through their relationship with Jesus, first and foremost, flowing into a loving marriage learned over time, resulting in blessed relationships in the lives of their children, that each of them are able to minister effectively to others. It is with the lessons learned from seasons less than ideal in early life and ministry, that Kevin & Christy simply live as an expression of the life of Jesus from who they are, as Christ has taken them through a journey toward wholeness with Jesus being their sole source of identity and desire in life and ministry.
The ministry of Knowing Jesus exists to know Jesus and to make him known.
WHAT WE DO
Lift up Jesus for others to see and know Him. (John 8:28)
Proclaim Jesus and admonish and teach everyone so that we may present everyone complete in Christ. (2 Corinthians 4:5, Ephesians 3:8, Colossians 1:28)
Preach Christ to salvation. (Acts 4:12, Acts 5:42)
Serve the Church, building up the body of Christ in the knowledge of the Son of God and fullness of Christ. (Ephesians 4:1-16)
Pray for God to move in our hearts, churches, communities, and land restoring our singular love for Jesus and following his leadership toward this end for others.

OUR VALUES
Christlikeness: The destiny of every believer is Christlikeness. Simply put the more we follow Jesus the more we will look like Him. This is central to God’s heart for us.
Proclamation: Faith comes from hearing the message and the message is heard through the word about Christ. Proclaiming Christ both informally and through public means on a consistent basis through multiple mediums, platforms, and gatherings is a core function of this ministry.
Worship: Personal devotion to Jesus and the aspiration to lead others to draw closer to Jesus in daily life is our desire as we make Jesus our first love in practice.
Relationship: God links people together to live life connected and fulfill His purpose for their lives through relationship.
Hiddenness: Embracing the truth that we are hidden with Christ in God in day-to-day activities, serves as a benchmark for God to reveal the activities He wants us to pursue, ensuring His will, presence, and fruitfulness accomplishes the purpose He intends for us to fulfill.
Revival: Our desire is to see God revive the church, reform culture, and awaken people globally to the person of Jesus Christ. We continue to pray to that end, seek to be the individuals God is calling us to be as we see only one reflection in the mirror, and labor and strive to lead others to passionately pursue Jesus above all else.
